MedCartWorks Lead Technician: Eddie Burgess
Charles (Eddie) Burgess, president of Carolina Courier Service Inc., has been providing service to the long term healthcare industry since 1995.
Eddie was partnered with his brother in a courier company for a major LTC pharmacy. In 2001, Eddie and Bill Smith started Carolina Courier Services providing courier services to Long Term Care Pharmacies. Carolina Courier developed an additional niche for LTC pharmacies in the repair of medication carts.
This service has grown into a separate service, MedCartWorks, which provides servicing on medication and treatment carts to LTC pharmacies primarily east of the Mississippi. Eddie is one of the founding partners of MedCartWorks.
Prior to opening Carolina Courier, Eddie was employed in the newspaper industry for 23 years as business manager and co-publisher. He has two children and four grandchildren.

MedCartWorks Lead Technician: Peter Smith
Peter was employed at Power Curbers, Inc. in Salisbury, NC from 1988 to 2007 developing skills in Production, Costing, Customer Service and Information Technology through various positions he held at the company. In 2008 he started working at Carolina Courier Services with his father Bill Smith (one of the original founders of MedCartWorks) and Eddie Burgess maintaining and rebuilding medical carts. Peter has been with MedCartWorks since its inception in 2010 and upon Bill’s retirement Peter assumed his father's role at MedCartWorks.

MedCartWorks Managing Partner: Nick Wilson
Nick serves as a partner with MedCartWorks and has been with the company since 2011. He completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science degree from NC State University and earned his Masters in Business Administration from East Carolina University in 2004. Nick has a wide variety of experience in operations, sales, customer service, marketing, and management.
Nick's hobbies include running, golfing, hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He was born in Ahoskie, NC and now lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife Melissa, daughter Lauren, and son Jackson.

Independent Accountant: Susan Jones
Susan serves as an independent accountant with MedCartWorks and has been with the company since the beginning. With an Associates degree from Beaufort Community College and 20 years in Public Accounting, she handles all accounting for the company.
Susan's hobbies include reading, going to the beach and spending time with her family. (Preferably while reading on the beach!)
She lives in Washington, NC with her husband Dewey. They have 2 grown daughters, Kelly and Jenna.
